  Your new charger should have the same voltage and equal or higher wattage than the original adapter.

• 2. Check the connector (plug) size and shape.
  ASUS uses several different connector types:
  • 4.0 × 1.35 mm slim round tip – common on many modern VivoBook / smaller ZenBook models.
  • 5.5 × 2.5 mm round tip – used on many older ASUS laptops and some mainstream models.
  • 6.0 × 3.7 mm (often with pin inside or special shape) – used on some high-power ASUS gaming / ROG adapters.
  • USB-C PD (Power Delivery) – for newer ZenBook, VivoBook and some gaming/creator models that charge over USB-C.

  The connector of the new charger must physically fit your laptop’s charging port.

• 3. Check the sticker on the bottom of your ASUS laptop.
  Turn the laptop upside down and look for the model name, for example:

  Many labels also show the required DC rating, e.g. “19V …A”.
• 4. Worldwide input voltage and power cord.
